About the Tiger Sharks

TVWRA is a neighborhood pool located near the intersection of Lauderdale Drive and John Rolfe Parkway. We have a long tradition of providing competitive swimming opportunities with an emphasis on team participation, individual development and sportsmanship. 

The TVWRA Tiger Sharks is a summer swim team in Division 4 of GRAL (Greater Richmond Aquatic League). The team is made up of boys and girls ages 4 to 18. The Tiger Sharks are excited for the upcoming season, coming off their 2-4 record last year! 

As Tiger Sharks, we pride ourselves on character development and swimming improvement. While we love for kids to win races and make time qualifications for CHAMPS, a bigger emphasis is put on personal best times, technical development, and personal improvement.

The Greater Richmond Aquatic League (GRAL)

The Greater Richmond Aquatic League (GRAL) is an organization of swimmers, coaches, and parents whose aim is to promote and participate in the sport of summer swimming GRAL provides an opportunity for young people to compete against others of similar ability in an atmosphere of fair play, good sportsmanship, and safety.
