Volunteering makes meets more fun!

Our Tiger Shark Swim Team only works with the COMMITMENT of all our parents. Every family will need to work a MINIMUM of 8 volunteer shifts during the course of the season.  This year, to complete registration, you MUST sign up for volunteer slots before you can move to the next page.  Concessions donations do not count as a volunteer shift.  There are many volunteer opportunities to fit everyone's skills.  .

The swim meet is organized into a first half and a second half. Swimmers 8 & under are finished after the first half. Pay attention to the starting time for your volunteer position. If you are assigned a second half job, plan to report during event 26.

Get Involved, Support Your Team & make new friends!

Certified Positions: Volunteers must attend a GRAL training class every one or two years, and in some cases, pass a written test.

  • Head Computer Rep: Enters registration information into the league provided database.  Records pre-meet information on swimmers, heats and events to generate meet programs and deck cards for each event and heat.  Trained by GRAL.
  • Head Table Worker: Responsible for organizing the working tables and making sure Table Workers understand the roles and responsibilities of their assignment. Oversees receiving deck and DQ card, sorting, verifying meet IDs, computer input and reports and ribbon labeling.
